The results of 30 temporary sample plots, which are laid out under condition of different inter-row widths in uneven-aged European oak stands, namely – 10–15, 27–32, 48–50, 56–62, 72–77 and 89–90 years – are presented. It is confirmed, that in the plantings starting from 30 years, we can see an increase of average height and diameter of oak plantations under the condition of reduction of inter-row width.
