PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DIFFUSION OF LINSEED OIL-BASED COMPOSITIONS IN WOOD.
Ukrainian Journal of Forest and Wood Science,

367-373.
Theoretical and experimental research regarding the impact of surface tension, viscosity, density and temperature of a linseed-oil based composition on the process of diffusion in wood has been performed for this work. The coefficient of diffusion of the linseed oil composition based on the modifier content and the temperature of the mixture was calculated. The research confirms that the rosin content reduces the oil permeability of the wood and increases the thickness of the surface film of protective and decorative coatings.
